PACT Annual In Person Spring Convening 2022

PACT Annual In Person Spring Convening 2022
Join us for the PACT 2022 Spring Convening!
PACT’s 2022 Convening is an opportunity for PACT county cohort participants to build valuable connections with peers, brainstorm challenges and define future steps together. Our agenda will be driven by input from our regional cohorts; centered on sharing between counties, exploring innovations in the field and hearing from those with lived experience.
Who Should Attend
Due to continued concerns regarding Covid-19, at this point, we can accommodate one PACT representative per county. We encourage you to send the individual most directly implementing your county’s child trafficking response. We will update you as capacity allows for additional attendance. Our PACT Staff, Consultants and the Child Trafficking Response Unit will also be in attendance. Sorry! This is not an event that is open to the general public or MDT partners – although we hope in the future to have a larger scale statewide conference.
Participation
This is an opportunity to pause from our everyday marathon to connect with colleagues from across the state. So we intentionally ask that participants set aside time to be present – bringing ourselves, our passion, knowledge and experience to fuel a time of creative exchange and vision casting. Think of this as more of a group retreat, than a large-scale conference. Let’s have some fun and relaxation too! 🙂
Will there be Virtual Access?
At this point, there is no anticipated virtual attendance. Due to the nature of the PACT Convening being a retreat type setting it will be highly interactive and is not conducive to a hybrid format. We are planning a Fall 2022 event to gather our network across all CA Counties in a virtual setting.
Arrival & Schedule
In-person check-in will be anytime after 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 17th. Expect an optional networking opportunity Tuesday evening and a formal agenda beginning the morning of Wednesday, May 18th. We will close with an afternoon session on May 19th. Details to follow.
Location
We selected our location to encourage personal reflection, self-care, and relationship building. Celebrated as Monterey Peninsula’s “Refuge by the Sea” – Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds is a breathtakingly gorgeous 107 acres of ecologically diverse beachfront land. Situated within the quaint and scenic town of Pacific Grove, Asilomar offers guests the simple comforts of cozy cottages and historic lodges – and an unforgettable escape from the demands of everyday life. Check out the location HERE.
