Jessica Valadez is an Equal Justice Works Fellow and attorney on the Collaborative Responses to Commercial Sexual Exploitation Initiative at the National Center for Youth Law. Her work at NCYL is centered around supporting Tribal communities, child welfare agencies, service providers, and advocates in preventing, identifying, and addressing the commercial sexual exploitation of Native American youth in California.

Jessica earned her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law and her B.A. from Loyola Marymount University. She is a first-generation Salvadoran American and the first in her family to graduate from college and attain a professional degree. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two pugs.
