Discover a a variety of no or low cost training opportunities to support your agency and community members, including: staff, multi-disciplinary partners, youth and caregivers learn about ways to prevent and address the commercial exploitation of children and young people in California. *Note: The links to training and resources made available from outside agencies may contain on demand courses or one-time specialized coursework. UC Davis Children’s Hospital Child and Adolescent Abuse Resource Evaluation (CAARE) Center and California Department of Social Services Presents an on demand web course for Caregivers of Youth Experiencing Sex Trafficking and Exploitation. This 3-hour web course includes 3 modules: Information about sex trafficking, Meeting the needs of youth with practical parenting strategies, Secondary traumatic stress and self-care strategies
Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking (CAST) in partnership with Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services and Los Angeles County Probation Department host monthly training for professionals, community, caregivers, and families.
