Harm Reduction – Open Office Hours for Child Welfare

Open to any California Child Welfare Social Worker and their partner agencies (Probation, Behavioral Health, Service Providers, Etc.) who want to discuss specific challenges with youth (de-identified info) or genreal HR practices and how best to employ them.

Hosted either by Drs. Dawn Blacker and Brandi Liles of the UC Davis CAARE Center or by members of the CDSS Child Trafficking Response Team, along with Heaven Williams of the CSEC Action Team Advisory Board. This 2-hour consultation will provide the opportunity to learn more about harm reduction strategies for high-risk behaviors, ask questions, and receive case specific consultation. This is a great opportunity to gain further skills and knowledge in harm reduction implementation as well as share ideas and brainstorm with other youth-serving professionals across California.
